Mercy Foundation is committed to helping you and your family build a tradition of giving. Individuals, families and corporations who want to be more actively involved in the distribution of resources to the ministries of the Sisters of Mercy, but not the day-to-day management of a charitable fund can partner with Mercy Foundation through a family-advised fund.
A family-advised fund allows you to enjoy ongoing involvement with Mercy Foundation, benefit from the tax advantages afforded to public charities by the IRS and ensure that your gifts become a permanent charitable legacy.
Partnering with Mercy Foundation through a family-advised fund will help you fulfill your philanthropic passion for the ministries of the Sisters of Mercy in the areas of healthcare, education, affordable housing, care for the poor and the elderly in the greater Sacramento region. And, because Mercy Foundation receives an operating grant from Catholic Healthcare West, 100% of all donations to your family-advised fund go to the ministry of your choice, including these important efforts.
