Kim Middleton, RN Joins Mercy Foundation Community Leadership Council for Mercy San Juan

Carmichael, CA January 12, 2009 - Kim Middleton, RN, joins Mercy San Juan Medical Center’s Community Leadership Council. Middleton will represent the over 700 nurse employees at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. “My passion for nursing is driven by my experiences and the belief that one person can make a difference. This passion has led me to accept the invitation to join the Mercy San Juan Community Leadership Council and I hope my contributions will lead to positive change.”

Mercy San Juan Medical Center (MSJMC) makes medical miracles every day. Named a Top 100 Hospital in the United States by Thomson Healthcare for the second consecutive year and one of only four in California, MSJMC makes it a priority to provide the highest quality healthcare along with compassionate care to patients and visitors. “Having our nurses represented on the Community Leadership Council will further develop a culture of philanthropy within the hospital. Kim’s acceptance is crucial to meeting our fundraising endeavors. I am very pleased,” says hospital president, Brian Ivie.

Mercy San Juan Medical Center’s Community Leadership Council, one of five Mercy Foundation Community Leadership Councils, is made up of influential community leaders who dedicate their time and expertise to further the mission of the Sisters of Mercy and the services provided by Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
